Greetings from the Trustees of Manasmita Foundation, an organization located at Kota, in Udupi district in Karnataka.
Manasmita foundation is engaged in providing health care for addressing mental health issues, helping the individuals and their families to overcome the trauma & stress faced while living in the society. Our endeavour is to raise the awareness about mental health and mental illness, advocating for community support through extensive range of counselling and therapeutic techniques provided through our highly qualified team of doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, counsellors and social workers at our sophisticated hospital facility at Kota.
To support our objective of creating a road map for mental health awareness and therapy, we have involved deeply in social awareness activities by joining hands with several philanthropist organizations and associations in organizing free health camps, workshops and seminars etc., among which benefit shows, musical programs have become immensely popular.
Music being the best and one of the many non-medical therapies for stressed minds, we have created an event of musical extravaganza, a unique event to honour extraordinary talents in the realm of Indian music, in a special way by inviting luminaries across the society to participate and facilitate and honour one exponent of music by instituting ‘GANA KOGILE S. JANAKI” life time achievement Award.
The Dr S Janaki National Award 2023 carries a cash prize of Rs 1 lac, a citation, and an award, while the Manasmita National Award includes a cash prize of Rs 25,000, a citation, and an award.
The Manasmita foundation is organizing a event – CHITRA GEETHE… ONDU PREETHI SAMHITHE ON 24TH MARCH 2023 at Meridian Park grounds at Kundapur.

Manasmita Foundation Kota in association with Geethanand Foundation and Yuva Meridian Koteshwara organized a programme of Musical extravaganza titled 'Hamsagaana' and award function together at Opera Park of Uva Meridian Koteshwara on 29th February 2020. Dr. Hamsaleka was honoured with S Janaki Award on that occasion. He said he was fortunate to receive an award that bears the name of one of the best playback singers in the history of the country. "For me, the award standing in the name of S Janaki is more valuable that even Bharat Ratna," he explained. On this occasion, Dr B N Gangadhar, a renowned psychiatrist and recipient of Padma Shri award, was honoured with Manasmita Foundation National Award.Managing director of Manasmita Foundation, Prakash Tolar, presided over the programme. Nadoja G Shankar, Geetananda Foundation director Prashant A Kunder, Uva Meridian director Uday Kumar Shetty, Naveen Shetty, Manamsita Foundation directors Savita P Tolar, Neha S Poojary, Hakub Gulwady and others participated as chief guests. Programme convener Dr Sathish Poojary, delivered introductory address. Vishwanath Kundapur compered the programme.

Manasmita Foundation Kota in association with Sahana Group Koteshwara organized Music concert by south Indian veteran film music star Vanijayaram, was held on 21st February 2016 at 6:30 pm at Sahana Estate Koteshwara.
The program conceptualization and lead by Dr. Sathish Poojari for the benefit of mentally retarded to create awareness among the public regarding mental health. The whole music program was managed by Rajgopal and team Mangaluru.

Manasmitha Foundation is dedicated to improvement of mental health care through programs that depend less on medications and more on engaging families and communities in addressing the stigma of mental illness.
In order to reach out to the needy, the Foundation connects with the well wishers, philanthropists Social organizations, NGOs and charitable institutions to bring recovery–based care and support to every community.
The Foundation seeks to change the perceptions, opinions that prove to be harmful for the persons who are afflicted by the maladies associated with mental health, and are on the verge of despair, for their inability to be part of the society. The Foundation continually associates with the afflicted persons and their families,, guiding them and nurturing them in their pursuit of normal life. The Foundation frequently conducts free Medical Health Check-up Camps, Counseling sessions at various rural places, schools, institutions and other NGOs, throughout the year.

Manasmita foundation, Kota (R), in association with Geetananda Foundation (R), Manoor and Yuva Meridian Presented Gana Kogile Dr. S Janaki Award and Musical Evening. The Award was given to Sri Rajesh Krishnan, the famous singer in Kannada film industry by Dr. Prakash Tolar and Dr. Sathish Poojari in the august presence of Dr. S Janaki.
The program was held on 24th February 2018, at Yuva Meridian, Koteshwara.
Parivarthana and Manasmitha foundation jointly organised free checkup camp and distribution of medicine for de-addiction and rehabilitation for the local people at Parivartana Centre at Kota. Mr. Harish Kunder, Vibhuja Pipe industries, was the chief guest and he inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Chief guests Mr. Vikram Prabhu and Mr. Gururaj, development Officers, LIC, Brahmavar were also present.
Under the guidance of Dr. Prakash Tolar, Medical Director of Parivarthana foundation, this free camp is held every month. He advised the poor patients to continue with their medication and take good advantage of the free camp.
The Director of Parivarthana foundation, Dr. Satish Poojari addressed the gathering. Smt. Savitha P Tolar and Smt. Neha S Poojari, the directors of Manasmitha foundation, were also present. Mr. Mahesh was the Emcee.
